We do not make this promise lightly. We know that behind every Zippo windproof lighter that is sent in for repair, there is an owner, trusted in our promise to make it working again. Whether a windproof lighter is 5 years old, 15 years old or 30 years old, it will serve as a reliable source of flame for years to come - we guarantee it!

1. Prepare Zippo lighter for shipping

Before sending in, remove the insert from the case and allow it to air dry for two days so that it no longer contains the lighter fluid.
the insert can then be placed back into the case and the entire lighter sent to the Repair Clinic
*Note: Inserts will not be repaired. The normal repair procedure is to replace the original indoor unit with a brand new indoor unit. The original will not be returned.

It is mandatory to describe the problem in the shipment, as well as write your contact details. Courier costs are at your expense. Lighters that are for repair and were purchased more than 2 years ago are sent to the European service center. The shipping, repair and return period is extended and may take 2-3 months as they are shipped in bulk.

The one-month period for rеpairing a factory defect, which is legally established, is valid only for products up to 2 years from the purchase, and they must be purchased from Bulgaria. After the second year, the warranty is not commercial, but from the manufacturer, and for this reason the period for repairing the damage is not guaranteed.

If you choose, you have the option to send a product for repair directly to the European Service Center yourself and at your own expense, following the steps described below:
